Made to order.
To best maintain the shape and appearance of the rug, we recommend regular maintenance where vacuuming is often the easiest cleaning method
Always start working from the edge of the dirt towards the center. This applies to both dry and wet spots.
Scrape gently, then vacuum the loose dirt.
Handle straight away. If you are fast, the liquid won’t be sucked into the mat since wool fiber does not absorb fluid right away. Hold something to dry with directly on the stain. Then use lukewarm water on cloth or sponge. For blood, use cold water. Moisten the stain and absorb with a cloth or sponge. Repeat until the stain is gone. Do not forget to work from the edges to the middle and be frugal with the amount of water. Do not rub the stain.
For more difficult spots:
Do as above but moisten with a small amount of ph-neutral detergent mixed with water. Be sure to repeat the treatment with only water so that no residues of detergent remain. Absorb with cloth or sponge.
For larger measures:
We recommend having professionals wash it. The rug goes through an extraction method, which means that the rug is washed with water and detergent. The dirt is dissolved and the rug is cleaned in depth. The dirt is sucked into the machine. Temperature must be adjusted to matte material. This is extra important in case of stained warp.
NO machine or dry cleaner.
